DESCRIPTION :

The equipment consists of a fabricated bed on which two heads are fitted with hydraulic cylinder for pushing the bearing from two sides. The distance between the heads can be adjusted to suit different lengths of the Idlers. The Idlers are placed on a ‘V’ Bracket provided on the bed, the height of which can be adjusted to suit different diameter of the Idler.

The pressure required for different size of bearing varies. Arrangement is provided to adjust the pressure. Also, the requirement of pressure varies when fitting bearing or dust cap. A switch is provided in the Control Panel to change the pressure quickly from the one which is required for the bearing to that which is required for the dust cap.

In many cases, the thickness of the dust cap is not sufficient to take the hydraulic pressure, in which case a timer circuit is also provided. By keeping the pressure at minimum and changing the travelling time of the piston after few trials, the dust cap is pushed satisfactorily. In any case, it is necessary to place the switch in the ‘Low Pressure’ mode.

Three sets of Mandrel will be supplied with the machine for pushing three sizes of bearings.

After placement of the Idler on the ‘V’ bracket, distance between the two heads and the height of the ‘V’ Bracket is adjusted to ensure that the center line of the Mandrel and the Idler is same. The pressure of the head pushing the bearing is adjusted depending on the size of the bearing. The bearing size upto 100 mm can be pushed.

The equipment supplied is complete with hydraulic power pack but without first fill of the oil.
